Question : Why did women pick shoes to obsess over, instead of a different article of clothing?
I mean, women could just as easily get obsessed with bracelets or scarves. Why do shoes get all this special attention?

you can make an outfit dressy or casual just with a pair of shoes.
you can make an outfit sexy or subtle just with pair of shoes.
and plus, there is just so many!

I don’t obsess about shoes that much, I have a thing for hats =P
Fer chrissakes, not all women obsess over shoes! Shoe-shopping is insanely boring for me, and it’s just a cultural stereotype that women get obsessed with shoes. If you’d hang out with more of us, you might realize that shoe-obsession is actually sort of unusual except in very superficial circles….as is obsession with any material object.

i agree with all the other womens answers ,and shoe’s also say a lot about a person for example it is the most thing that says stuff about your style .
