Awesome shoes!!,
These aren’t only a fashion statement; these are great shoes! I purchased a pair of these simply because of the reviews from other customers. I consider myself a daily runner. I run about 5-6 miles per day at about 8.0 mph on the treadmill and outside on the roads and sidewalks. These are perhaps the best shoes I have ever worn!
I have had problems with my feet since playing high school football. Now that I am in the military, I have always strived to find a quality pair of running shoes. Even after using these on my first run, it has been a world of difference. I felt that I could run longer and run faster than I could with other types of shoes. I don’t have the same foot pain or knee pain associated with running longer distances.
In the month since I’ve had these shoes, they have spent their entire life, approximately 200 miles, in Afghanistan. While I admit they do get dirty, it doesn’t matter. I have had no problems with these shoes at all. They are light, comfortable, and I wear them whenever I don’t have to wear my combat boots.
If you are a runner and don’t like the typical pains associated with some longer distance treks, these are the shoes for you!

|Great cushioning for running,
These are great for someone looking for a light weight running shoe with good cushioning. I did go up a half size over what I wear in Nike. I have a high arch and use a commercial orthotic insole. My perscription insoles wouldn’t fit though. They seem very stable, which is good because I over-pronate and I have a weak ankle. I am not a high-mileage runner. I have about 15 miles on these so far and I don’t see any wear on the mesh upper, which is a place I have seen some complaints in other reviews. They make a cross trainer that has a leather upper, so if you are planning on wearing these as a walker or every day shoe, I’d go with those. The material that they use for the sole is more like foam, so they look like they could wear out a little sooner than a rubber sole, but that’s probably why they are so comfortable. They are the most comfortable running shoe I have ever owned.

As someone who would often get shin splints when running I couldn’t be happier with these shoes. Reebok claims that they reduce stress on the shins, thighs, etc and in my experience they are making an accurate statement. I love the Zigs so much that I bought a second pair. I am know running longer distances than I have before, more consistently, and without ANY shin pain.
Even if you’re not a runner the Zigs are a great casual shoe as well. I highly recommend them.
