Q&A: Tuxedo Shoes with a Suit?
I’m on my way to a wedding tonight and I have a black suit with a white shirt and pink tie. My question is, can I wear tuxedo shoes with this suit? They are shiny black tuxedo shoes, handmade leather from Italy, but I don’t know if it’s acceptable to wear them with a coat and tie rather than a tuxedo. My other option is just a pair of black shoes that I wear to work. Can anyone help? Thanks!

Wear the tuxedo shoes.

wear your regular black shoes if their dress shoes. if not wear the shiny ones.
