Q&A: How can one know what God truly wants?
Let me clarify.
I remember the Hudson river incident in which an airplane was going down because a flock of ducks/geese where caught in the turbines. The plane was going down, but the pilot( an ex-military fighter pilot..I don’t really remember)managed to bring the plane down into the Hudson river without anyone getting hurt. I even recall people not getting their shoes wet. Naturally, many people claimed this to be a miracle. Against all odds, everyone was ok.
About a week later, an airplane goes down and everyone died, including one person in their home. Religious folk then begin saying things along the lines of “We cannot truly understand God” or “God is a mystery” or “The will of God cannot be understood.”
So then who are you to say anything about your religion, what God wants, if you clearly believe that God is a mystery? Please, no bashing. Just intelligent answers.
