Question: What is the name of those weird sandals that have fabric attached?
They’re not leg warmers – the fabric only comes a little higher than the ankle but the whole getup looks very Grecian. I just can’t remember the name of these shoes! Fabric meets flip-flops?

Hi,I did the following:

Q&A: How can I repair the fabric on the foot of my silver satin sandals the is starting to come loose.?
I have a pair of beautiful silver satin fabric sandals but the fabric, on the right sandal, seems to be coming loose on the area where my big toe is. It was raining when my sister-in-law borrowed it for a wedding she was attending and I think that is when it came loose. She has offered to buy me another pair, however I would like to try to salvage them because I cannot find another pair like it.

Question: How do you clean dyed fabric sandals?
My daughter was a bridesmaid, got her dyed fabric sandals covered in mud at the reception (it was in a big barn!) I’ve brushed off the “chunks” with a soft nail brush, any other suggestions? The dry cleaner said he wouldn’t do them, but I may check with another and see what they say. Thank you!
