Question: Should I worry about the type of shoes I will be wearing to/from the tattoo studio?
I’m getting a tat on my foot. Would it be better if I wear flip flops, sneakers, clogs, or does it not really matter? I’m trying to think about if there will be blood, will it hurt to have something rubbing against my foot as I’m walking home, etc.

i got a tattoo on my foot last year and i wore flats
i have to tell u it hurt for me
but i was there for 4 hours cause it starts on my foot and goes up my leg
its best that u dont cover it up so that way it can heal properly
mine took about 2 1/2 weeks to heal completly
and it was swollen for about 4 days
its all worth it if u REALLY want it
i know i love mine!!

i would say wear some sandals something not real tight good luck with that by the way thats gonna hurt like hell

You should be wearing open shoes that are not rubbing on your tattoo for at least two weeks to prevent pulling out ink anyway, so definitely wear flip flops or some other sandals that don’t cover the area that’s going to be tattooed.

* just try to make it where nothing is touching the tattoo. so that definitely rules out:
Sneakers

I would do the flip flops. They will be covering it with a bandage, so you need there to be room for the bandage, so it will not move or anything when you put your shoes on.
