Has anyone been to Sandals Antigua? How was your experience? We are going for our honeymoon in Ocotber.

No but have been doing research on it. check out www.tripadvisor.com there you will find tons of reviews and pitcures from all the resorts from people who have been there, from the pitcures i saw the island is awesome, undecided on the resort. check out the web site you will find the answer your looking for, have fun. we go back to Sandals Dunn’s River next month.

Sandals is the top of the line in Antigua…
What the Ultra All inclusive is….you can do every land and water sports…The spa is absolutley phenominal,
I dont know if your travel agent told you or not, but you get Wedgewood china or Waterford Crystal, if you stay 6 nights or longer and in a third level room….

Sandals is great, but the beach is too crowded. On the other side of the island you should spend a few hours at Long Bay beach. Best on the island. All beaches in Antigua are public, so dont worry about trespassing. If you have any more questions, I am an American living in Antigua, and I would be happy to help. dostallion@yahoo.com

Question–: Honeymoon destination – Sandals Antigua?
Has anyone been to Sandals Resort in Antigua recently? On the net there are so many reviews some really really bad, some really really good – don’t know if I should book the resort or not? Any comments?
In particular I know there was major building work last year for the new village? Has that completed yet or anyone know if it will complete by 2007?
Also cleanliness / staff / beaches – good or not?
Did everyone get upgraded rooms on arrival?

I am from Antigua and let me tell you my boy friend work there and it is one of the best place that you could ever be! every where have it good and bad! But you just have to experience it to find out! The project it not 100% finish as yet but its all good, the staff is friendly and the beaches is lovely! Good luck and let me know if you decided to come!
