Q&A: Is it ridiculous to wear heeled sandals with shorts?
I have a pair of heeled sandals. They’re not quite tall enough to be heels, but they still have a heel on them. Would they look ridiculous and trashy with shorts? Should I stick to wearing them with dresses and skirts?

Well considering you said that they aren’t quite tall enough to be heels, I think it would be fine to wear with shorts. But keeping in mind that they do have heels, I would probably stick to shorts that aren’t too low cut or too skimpy/tight. If you do wear them with shorts, don’t wear them with a tank top. Even just shorts and tank tops alone are very revealing, even with short heels they could give people the wrong idea. I know that at most young peoples age they don’t like being all loose jeans, long sleeve shirt and flat shoes, but as long as your not going for the strapless shirt, short short shorts, and stiletoe heels I am sure that it is fine.

Nope, absolutely not. I’ve seen many wear actual high heels on shorts looking stunning in them!

I guess it would be ok, but hmm check out the variety of some of the FlipFlop sandles too… They are basically for such purposes like, long skirts, saares , shorts etc….
check them out , and if you like them…
