Question: How can I make a rubbing from the bottom of students’ tennis shoes for a school art project? Teachers, help!

Just put a piece of paper on the shoe and rub a crayon/piece of chalk/piece of charcoal over it. Lay whatever you use horizontally. Voila!

Place a piece of paper under their shoes and using the length of a crayon, rub. You might consider asking someone who does gravestone and/or sewer lid rubbings, as it’s the same method.
