Q&A: how do i get mold of leather sandals?
i left some moist sandals in a bag and they were not quite dry, are they ruined or is there a way i can scrub/clean off the mold without damaging the sandals?

thats kind of gross, unless the sandals are worth a lot or special to you i would throw them away and buy some new ones…. otherwise take a sponge and some soap and start scrubbing. it shouldnt damage them

Use som e hot soapy water, and a cloth or brush then dry well and apply leather treatment. or polish

Throw them in the washer on a light/short/cold/gentle cycle and let them air dry outside. That should take care of them.

You should never leave leather shoes/sandals in a bag. Rub them clean and apply leather restorer. If you want to wear sandals in the water try rope sandals, they are great and not affected by salt water
