Question: My ski boots are almost impossible to put on. Does anyone have any tips to make it easier?
I bought some Head Dream Thang boots a couple of years ago and have now used them on 3 ski holidays. Although comfortable to ski in, the boots are incredibly difficult to put on; there seems to be virtually no ‘slip’ down the back of the boot’s lining, which means my foot always gets stuck halfway in. It’s becoming a bit of a joke that I can’t get into my boots on my own!! Does anyone have any tips to alleviate this? Thank you.

Q&A: What are good cowboy boots for walking around in?
I want a pair of good boots and I’ve been looking at some supposedly good brands (Tony Lama, Justin, Ariat…) but I want to make sure I get some that are comfortable to walk around in. (Real cowboy boots, not fashion ones). Any suggestions?
So Justins and Tony Lamas? Which style should I get?
Also, my foot size is a men’s 6.5 D (U.S.A.) so its kinda hard findin the size.

Question: Can boots be altered to become steel toed?
I am going to need some steel-toe boots for a job coming up; I have some sturdy boots but they are not steel-toe. To avoid the expense of buying a whole new pair of boots, I thought perhaps I could go to a shoe repair shop near my house. Would such a place be able to add adequate protection to my boots?

Question: What kind of boots should I wear with a black mini dress and black tights?
I have a cute, simple black mini dress that I want to wear with black tights. Unfortunately, I hardly ever wear dresses so I’m really confused as to what kind of boots go well with them (I know what kind of regular shoes would work, but it’s way too cold for those! I need boots!)

Mid-calf to knee-high boots are what I’m looking for. I actually do not own any right now though, so I guess whatever you have to recommend. I am fairly short, if that changes anything.
Actual links to shoes would be great, but colors, material, and whatever other necessary information needed when shopping for boots is appreciated as well.

i need some new paddock boots to wear with half chaps, to replace my crappy rubber tall boots. they need to be nice and flexible so i can keep my heels down wayyy easier than with my old boots. i can’t afford ariat boots, or high-priced boots. i’m looking at or less, if i can get boots that cheap for a good quality. does anyone know where i can get those (website)? or are boots that cheap going to be crap? (the boots would be for schooling only.)

Question: How do I find boots that look good with tights and a skirt without the boots being too wide?
Everytime I try on a pair of knee-high or below-the-knee boots, they are too wide and look funny. I want to find a pair of reasonably priced boots that I can wear with black tights and an above the knee skirt that will look professional.

Question: How tall are riding boots supposed to be?
I just got some Dublin English riding boots from Dover Saddlery and I’m not sure, but I think they are too tall. When I bend my legs, the back of the boots poke into my thigh. The front of the boots comes to about mid knee. Are they too tall?
