Hi,I did the following:

Boots， Sandals， Sneakers， Women Shoes
Question: Can only men who are from the middle east or India get away with the jeans and sandals look?
It seems like only men from the middle east or India can wear sandals with jeans without comment as they tend to own the look. It is somewhat of a cultural thing.

I know what you mean; however, all guys can pull off this look. BUT, there are a lot of men’s sandals that are bad choices. Bulky sandals, sport sandals like Tevas or the Adidas soccer ones, and the granola type will usually get a comment (either good or bad) – the sandals that usually avoid comments are the higher quality streamlined ones. There is a good article in Ask Men magazine about this.

I should say I live in Miami and jeans and sandals are a pretty common look here for all guys.
